7" Cackle Box

Fit three pheasants in there for the first hunt of the season and they rode quiet as could be the whole way out. The size is just right for keeping them secure without cramping them, and the whole thing feels solid when you sling it over your shoulder.

The mesh vents keep air flowing even when the box is packed tight, and my quail stayed calm through a two-hour drive. Cleaning out the corners after a muddy hunt took less than five minutes. Build quality feels like it'll outlast my old plastic crates by years.

The latch system is rock solid—I’ve driven rutted ranch roads with a dozen quail inside and not one bird has jostled loose. It’s roomy enough for a big pheasant rooster without cramping his wings.
